I love to eat peanuts,
Or so the books say.
I am getting more endangered
Every single day.
I weigh about a ton,
And I eat the same amount.
What could I possibly be?
What am I?

I'm often seen around a lot, referred to many ways,
See me black and you may find misfortune haunts your days.
Tell a thing, that should have been kept quiet, to all around,
Then look inside the sack, there I'm no longer to be found.
Nosiness, prying, snooping, leaves me fearing, full of dread,
For all these things are likely to see me soon lying dead.
These clues combined should start to give a picture, an idea,
Of who or what I am, so can you tell me? Is it clear?

Two years ago, a man was offered a motorcycle for $1024, but he declined to buy it. A year later, he was offered the same motorcycle for $640, but again decided not to buy it. A little while after that, he was again offered the motorcycle, this time at $400. Again, he refused to buy it. Last week, he turned the motorcycle down even though the price had now fallen to $250. If the owner offers it for sale yet again, and he makes a consistent reduction, how much will it be for sale for the next time?

Although I exist alone, I am often intertwined with others as
the threads of a spider web. When worn there's an expression
that signifies you shall not leave me. A man with a name meaning
knowledgeable one once said that I am part of a set of four and
that I have less than ten folds.
